Class 1E MELT (meets NSC16 MELT Standard) starting at $8,395
This program meets the minimum entry level training required in New-Brunswick and Price Edward Island to obtain a Class 1 license.
Mandatory entry level training delivered over 6 weeks.

The New Brunswick program includes:
- 47 hours of classroom and practical lab which includes the air brakes endorsement and covers every module of the NCS16 standard. We will schedule your written test as well.
- 70 hours practical training which includes pre-trip inspection, a minimum of 50 hours of one-on-one driving practice and your road test (examination fees to be paid at Service New Brunswick).
- With this program, you will be supported through the written test and road test examinations at Service New Brunswick.
Tutition: New Brunswick: $8,395
The Prince Edward Island program includes
- 47 hours of classroom and practical lab which includes the air brakes endorsement and covers every module of the NCS16 standard. We will schedule your written test as well.
- 67 hours practical training which includes pre-trip inspection, a minimum of 50 hours of one-on-one driving practice and your road test (examination fees to be paid at Access PEI).
- 100 hours of observing other drivers.
- With this program, you will be supported through the written test and road test examinations at Access PEI.
Tutition: New Brunswick: $8,995
The program consists of 6 weeks in a virtual classroom, practical hours and an internship. During the program, students will cover transportation regulations and route planning, transportation management systems as well as have in-truck observation and in-field training.
